I am a native of Memphis. Technically, I grew up in Southaven, Mississippi, but most folks say, "Where's that?" So, I've learned to take the easy route and claim to be from Memphis. I received my Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, my M.S. in General Psychology from the University of Memphis, and my B.A. in Psychology from Christian Brothers University. My research interests include prejudice, stereotyping, and discrimination, attitude change, and resistance to persuasion.
